Crawlspace Cleanout

A Crawlspace Cleanout is the process of removing sub floor insulation, duct wrap insulation, vabor barrier plastic and other loose debris from a crawlspace due to rodent (or other vertebrate animal) contamination. We also remove existing fecal droppings and treat the area with a "decontamination/deodorizing spray" to further deodorize and sanitize the space. After cleanup is completed we go through with a "fine-toothed-comb" inspecting for any possible rodent entry points that would allow further contamination of the area in the future. After sealing these access points with 1/4 inch steel mesh or other material we then install new vapor barrier, subfloor insulation and duct wrap insulation.
